Burk Pioneer Cemetery is located in the Darlington Hydro Upper and Lower Soccer Feilds, just off Energy Rd and Crago Rd in Darlington, Ontario. The monuments have been placed on a cairn, and it is very easy to spot them as you pull into the park.
Burk Pioneer Cemetery
Restored by the town of Newcastle Darlington Cemetery Committee and Ontario Hydro 1984.
Buried here in lot 24, Broken Front are John Burk, his wife Jane, some of their children and relatives. They, as United Emire Loyalists, arrived at Port Darlington in October 1794. With Conants and Trulls, they were the first families to clear and settle land in Darlington Township.
Apparently, the first interment here was Samuel Burk, Mary Van Camp (his wife), son Peter and his wife, and son Sylvester Burk. None of these monuments are placed in the cairn, so I am assuming they have been lost to time.

Note: The picture above shows a white X made with spray paint. It is located on the gravel road right in front of the monuments. If you stand on it, facing the cairn and talk you will get a really neat echo effect, due to the shape of the cairn. It sounds like your talking in a fishbowl.
