I took these photo's abt 2 years ago, long before I started this blog. Unfortunately, I wasn't as thorough as I would be now, so a few of the stones weren't well photographed and documented. As such, I can't claim this is a full listing of everyone in the cemetery. Also, due to the high unlikeliness of me going back to this area anytime soon, this issue probably won't be rectified. So you'll just have to enjoy what you get here!
Lazarus Payne, died Jan 3, 1915. Aged 68 years.
Rebecca White, died Jan 30, 1930. Aged 81 years.
The monument to the left is Robertson, but all else has been worn off
The monument on the right:
Mark Payne, died March 28, 1901. Aged 78 years
Ann Kirk, his wife, died April 29, 1864. Aged 32 years.
Several monuments, a few that are too worn to read, others with their back facing the camera.
Old monuments piled by a tree
Margaret Jane Forbes, his wife. Born Jan 17, 1855, died Feb 22, 1897
Their children:
Charles George, aged 18 days
Nettie Jane, aged 3 years
Charles Powers, aged 9 years
Julia, aged 2 years.
Mary Galbraith, wife of A.K. Ferguson. died June 14, 1915. Aged 76 years.
Louisa Grant, wife of Jogn Carveth, died Aug 6, 1873. Aged 60 years.
There is a small cairn at the front of the cemetery with some of the older monuments. Some can't be read, like all of the ones in the above picture.
Some are in fairly good shape:
Edward Whatley, died Jan 20, 1864. Aged 55 years
Elizabeth, his wife, died 1870.
Hamilton Mc?
Margaret Little, his wife, died Aug 31, 1866. Aged 43 years.
Ellen Crowe, died Dec 22, 186?. Aged 2 years.
Ethel Eve Maude
Evangeline Crowe, died Aug 9, 1881. Aged 4 years.
It's hard to tell if the above (Ethel and Evangeline) is one or two people. If it is two, that's incredibly sad.
